IRRIS Institute (Slovenia) joined SoMe4Dem

We are pleased to announce that on March 1, 2024, IRRIS Institute joined the SoMe4Dem consortium (Hop on Facility scheme). 
The new project partner will investigate the social impact on cultural and communicative memories by utilizing its expertise in deliberative democracy studies. Based on the conducted theoretical analysis and case studies on selected commemorations, IRRIS will develop and test customized deliberative quality indicators to measure this impact in relation to polarization, deliberation, and identity formation.
Additionally, IRRIS will organize a workshop on this topic and formulate policy recommendations, tailored to the complex situations in East and Central European and Western Balkan countries.
