Focus Workshop on Polarization, Trust, and Disinformation
The man aim of this workshop is to work on the operationalisation of measuring the impact of social media on democracy along the three dimensions of participation, trust and polarization.
In order to achieve that we have to integrate the work done in the frst year the conceptual foundations from democracy theory (WP1), the emprical work (WP2), the work on platform affordances (WP4) and the planned experiments (WP3 and WP4).
We are happy to welcome Fabiana Zollo from Universita Ca' Foscari as a keynote speaker to provide external input about "Exploring social dynamics and public discourse in the digital age”.
